Supervisors review inventory, operators issue stock against orders, and shipping staff record carrier handoffs. Each role sees the information it needs.
View stock by item, warehouse, bin and batch. Separate on-hand, reserved and quarantined quantities so physical stock is not mistaken for available stock.
Example: 12 units on hand, 6 reserved for an order, leaving only 6 available to other orders.
Organize physical stock by warehouse, zone and bin. See what each bin holds, its quantity and whether it is empty or quarantined.
Example: A-01 is the picking bin for MAT-A; Q-01 is quarantine. Matching item codes do not make the bins interchangeable.
Check the customer, item, batch, bin and quantity against the outbound order. Track issued and outstanding quantities, recording each partial issue.
Example: issue 2 of 6 units, leaving 4 outstanding. Shipping remains blocked until all required units are issued.
Once issuing is complete, record the carrier, tracking reference and shipment status. Link warehouse execution to the handoff for customer queries and internal follow-up.
Example: record tracking after all 6 units are issued. Marking shipped updates the handoff, without deducting stock again.

Normal available stock = on-hand − reserved. Quarantine stock cannot be allocated.

On-hand is the quantity in the inventory ledger. Reserved stock is allocated to an order but not yet issued. Availability also depends on stock status: in this example, normal stock is on-hand minus reserved, and quarantine stock cannot be allocated.
No. Issuing records how much leaves a specific bin and batch, updating inventory. Shipping records the carrier handoff and tracking reference. The actions are linked but must not deduct stock twice.
This page shows carrier, tracking-reference and shipment-status recording. ERP/MES integration, live tracking APIs, printers and operating rules are confirmed per project. Entering a tracking number does not imply integration with every carrier.
