Do we need MES if we already have ERP?

Must every machine be connected first?
No. Manual reporting, scanning and equipment data collection can be evaluated separately. Protocols, networks, sampling and retrofit costs need assessment; universal plug-and-play connectivity is not assumed.
How should pricing and acceptance be defined?
